A Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) is a licensed healthcare professional specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses. Our AT is an essential part of our sports program, dedicated to the safety and health of every student-athlete.
Our AT provides comprehensive medical care right on campus, ensuring continuity and expertise in five key areas:
Prevention: Implementing safety protocols, conditioning programs, and equipment checks to reduce injury risk.
Emergency Care: Providing immediate, on-site care for acute injuries during practices and games.
Evaluation & Diagnosis: Assessing injuries (from sprains to concussions) and determining the best course of action.
Rehabilitation: Designing and supervising individualized recovery plans to ensure a safe, gradual return to play (RTP).
Communication: Acting as the primary medical liaison between the athlete, parents, coaches, and team physicians.
If your student-athlete is injured or requires medical attention, our Athletic Trainer is the first line of communication for their health and safety.
