Athletic Trainer

A Certified Athletic Trainer is a licensed healthcare professional specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses — an essential part of our sports program.

What Do Athletic Trainers Do?

Prevention

Safety protocols, conditioning programs and equipment checks to reduce injury risk.

Emergency Care

Immediate, on-site care for acute injuries during practices and games.

Evaluation & Diagnosis

Assessing injuries from sprains to concussions and determining next steps.

Rehabilitation

Individualized recovery plans for a safe, gradual return to play.

Communication

The primary medical liaison between athlete, parents, and coaches.
